Gilani for effective implementation of energy conservation measures
Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani on Tuesday stressed the need for implementation of energy conservation measures both by the federal and provincial governments in true letter and spirit. He appreciated the Punjab government for strict implementation of these measures.
The prime minister was talking to Punjab Provincial Excise and Taxation Minister, Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman who called on him here at the Prime Minister’s Secretariat on Tuesday after the conclusion of the Energy Summit Review Meeting.
The premier asked the Punjab minister to convey his appreciation to the chief minister of Punjab for effective implementing of the decisions of the Energy Conference.
Mian Mujtaba Shujaur Rehman apprised the prime minister that the Punjab government is leading the rest of the country in implementation of energy conservation measures and will continue to extend full cooperation to the federal government in this regard.
