NH&MP dispatches milk packets, water bottles for flood-hit people
ISLAMABAD Aug 14: National Highways and Motorway Police on Saturday dispatched 30,000 milk packets and equal number of water bottles for flood affected people to Rahim Yar Khan and other flood affected areas.
The NH&MP has also dispatched a truck of food items to flood affectees of south Punjab, after collecting the donations from the employees of the organization.
The IG NH&MP Dr Wasim Kausar has directed to set up a Medical Camp at Rahim Yar Khan and Jaccobabad to provide free medical aid to the flood affectees.
The NH&MP have already established two Medical Camps at Charsada and Nowshera and a Field Hospital for flood affectees of these areas. While the organization has also provide food items to all its patrolling cars from Rahim Yar Khan to onward to provide relief goods to the nearest villages along GT road. The flood affectees can also get relief goods from these patrolling cars.
The IG NH & MP has asked to the general public to handover donations and other such relief goods in the relief collection camps at toll plazas and donors can also tender it with any patrol car on motorway or at highway and get official receipts. These donations would be taken to flood affectees personally.
