Pak army committed to offer maximum relief efforts:Corps Commander

MULTAN, Aug 14: Corps Commander Multan Lt Gen Shafqaat Ahmed Saturday said that Pakistan army stands by the nation in this hour of ordeal and it is doing relief work in different flood hit areas.

The Corps Commander was talking to people in a relief camp established at Attera in Taunsa. He assured people that all the resources and professional skills are being utilised for offering maximum help and relief work in flood-hit areas.
He said, Pak army will work with the same spirit during rehabilitation and reconstruction work in calamity hit areas.
He distributed Pakistani flags among kids, youngsters and others. The inhabitants of the camps were also offered refreshment. The camp participants also prayed for progress and prosperity of the country.
Meanwhile, a flag hoisting ceremony held at corps headquarters. On this occasion special prayers for country’s solidarity, progress and prosperity of the country and for eradication of flood calamity were offered.
