PPP Riyadh Region Marks 58th Foundation Day with Grand Celebration
Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – The Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) Riyadh Region organized a dignified and well-coordinated ceremony to commemorate the party’s 58th Foundation Day. The event drew enthusiastic participation from party officials, workers, and community representatives, reflecting the strong organizational spirit of the Riyadh chapter.
The ceremony was presided over by PPP Riyadh Region President Ahsan Abbasi, who in his address highlighted the revolutionary vision of the party’s founder, Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto, and the democratic struggle of Shaheed Mohtarma Benazir Bhutto. He emphasized that the Foundation Day serves as a renewal of ideological commitment and a fresh pledge to uphold democracy.
The chief guest, PPP Saudi Arabia Secretary General Sardar Razzaq, delivered a special speech underscoring that the 58th Foundation Day symbolizes the party’s decades-long journey of struggle, sacrifices, and service to the people.
The guest of honor, President of the People’s Youth Organization Saudi Arabia Ijaz Raheem, praised the growing role of youth, organizational strength, and the contributions of overseas workers.
The program was professionally conducted by PPP Riyadh Region Secretary General Rana Adeel.
Other speakers included Senior Vice President Waseem Sajid, Safeer Haider, and Sardar Naseer Khan, who reaffirmed PPP’s historic role in strengthening the federation, safeguarding public rights, and consolidating democracy. Additional Secretary Generals Hidayatullah, Qareebullah, Ahsan Jameel, and Haider Ali also addressed the gathering, expressing satisfaction over the party’s expanding activities and continuous member engagement.
The ceremony concluded with a special prayer for Pakistan’s security, prosperity, democratic continuity, and the success of PPP leadership. A cake-cutting ceremony marked the occasion, and participants lauded the event as a shining example of the Riyadh Region’s organizational strength and unity.
