Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – A distinguished ceremony was organized in Riyadh by renowned Pakistani entrepreneur and social figure, Syed Saqib Zubair, the driving force behind Zarwah Al-Afkar Group, to honor Pakistani journalists. The event was attended by prominent media representatives and community members.
Addressing the gathering, Syed Saqib Zubair emphasized that journalists are the “eyes and voice of society,” entrusted with the vital responsibility of conveying public concerns to the authorities. He praised the role of Pakistani journalists residing in Saudi Arabia, acknowledging their significant contributions in strengthening Pakistan–Saudi relations and highlighting community issues.
He further noted that media is the most powerful voice in today’s world and urged Pakistani youth to step forward in the field of journalism to establish strong representation at the global level.
The ceremony also featured speeches by Youth Forum Riyadh President Muhammad Ibrahim Jutt and Secretary General of Majlis-e-Pakistan Rana Umar Farooq, who lauded the services of Pakistani journalists. They stressed that constructive journalism is essential for national progress and effective community representation.
