Sheikh Faisal Noman, the Muezzin of the Prophet’s Mosque, passed away, laid to rest in Jannatul Baqi
Madinah (Pakistan News) Sheikh Faisal Noman, the famous Muezzin of the Prophet’s Mosque, passed away on Monday. Sheikh Faisal Noman belonged to a distinguished family whose many generations have had the privilege of giving the call to prayer in the Prophet’s Mosque.
According to a statement issued on social media by the administration of the Two Holy Mosques, his death occurred on December 22, after which his funeral prayer was offered in the Prophet’s Mosque on December 23 after Fajr prayer.
A large number of officials and pilgrims attended the funeral prayer, after which the deceased was laid to rest in the historical cemetery of Jannatul Baqi’ in Medina.

According to Arab media, Sheikh Faisal Noman’s father and grandfather also held the same position, especially his father, who assumed the responsibilities at the age of just 14 and remained committed to this sacred duty until his death at the age of over 90.
