Warning about the closure of inactive mobile SIMs for 6 months
Islamabad (Pakistan News) the Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA) has issued a warning about the closure of inactive mobile SIMs for 6 months.
According to the issued statement, the PTA says that telecom operators have the authority to close SIMs that have not been used for 6 months.
SIMs that have not been used for calls or messages and internet for 180 days will be closed, Inactive SIMs will be closed and that number will be issued to another user.
According to the PTA, after the SIM is issued to another user, there is no legal claim on it. The sim ownership can be retained for a specific period by making a written request or emailing the operator.

Users should continue to use their SIMs responsibly to avoid any possible problems, further stated.
