Pakistan decides not to boycott T20 World Cup completely, Green Shirts will not play match against India

Islamabad (Pakistan News dot com dot pk) Pakistan has decided not to boycott the T20 World Cup hosted by India completely and the Government has approved sending cricket team for tournament, which has also been officially announced.

The announcement states that Government of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan has approved the participation of the Pakistan cricket team in the ICC T20 World Cup 2026. However, the Pakistan cricket team will not play the scheduled match against India on February 15, 2026.

Meanwhile, sources say that the team Green Shirts has been stopped from playing against India to express solidarity with Bangladesh. By the way, there are many reasons for the decision not to play the match against India on February 15, however, the biased decision of the ICC regarding Bangladesh is main reason.

According to government sources, the Pakistani team was asked not to play the match with India on February 15 as a protest.
