islamabad blast, At least 31 killed, 169 injured in suicide bombing
Islamabad (Pakistan News) An explosion has rocked Imambargah, in Islamabad on Friday In which At least 31 persons killed and other 169 got injuries. The incident occurred at Imambargah Qasr-e-Khadijatul Kubra in Terlai, according to police.
Eyewitnesses told authorities that the blast appeared to be a suicide bombing.
Initial reports suggest that the incident took place during Friday prayers. Police sources said the suspected suicide bomber was noticed in advance and attempts were made to stop him, at which point the explosion occurred.
Emergency services and law enforcement rushed to the scene, and the area has been secured as investigations continue.
Meanwhile, Rescue teams shifted the injured to Pims and Polyclinic Hospital, where doctors and medical staff worked under emergency conditions.

On other hand, Officials said the bomber had been identified and it was also determined how many times he had traveled to Afghanistan.
