Lahore (Pakistan News) famous Pakistani playwright Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar has clarified his earlier remarks concerning actress Saba Qamar’s bold choice of clothing.
According to details, in a recent podcast, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar stated that he has retracted his previous comments about Saba Qamar, acknowledging that the choice of attire is a personal matter for every individual.
He remarked that Saba Qamar is free to wear whatever she chooses as he is in no position to stop anyone and that this is a matter between the individual and God.
However, the playwright clarified that he does not allow bold attire in the dramas he writes; he does not even approve of outfits with deep necklines.
Criticizing the trend of revealing clothing, Khalil-ur-Rehman Qamar noted that while men themselves dress modestly, they often encourage women to wear less clothing.
This statement has once again ignited a debate regarding attire and personal freedom.
