Indian doctor commits suicide after US visa rejection

New Delhi (Pakistan News) A 38-year-old female doctor in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, India, allegedly committed suicide after her US visa was rejected.

According to Indian media, the police confirmed the incident and said that Dr. Rohini’s death was discovered when the female doctor’s family knocked on the door of the house and when there was no response, the family broke the door and entered and found her dead.

Police sources said that the female doctor who committed suicide tried to commit suicide by taking sleeping pills or injecting on Friday night, however, the real cause of suicide can be determined only after the postmortem report comes.

The woman’s body was handed over to her family after the postmortem. The police also found a suicide note from the woman’s house in which it is written that she was suffering from depression and that the visa application was rejected.

According to Indian media, Lakshmi, the mother of Dr. Rohini, told news agency Press Trust of India (PTI) that Rohini was a bright student and had completed her MBBS in Kyrgyzstan between 2005 and 2010. Her academic record was excellent and she had big dreams for her future.

Rohini’s mother Lakshmi told the media that her daughter dreamed of working in the US, but she was very disappointed when she was not granted a visa.

The mother also said that I asked Rohini to continue her medical career in India, but she used to say that the number of patients would be more in the US and the income would be better.

According to Indian media, the police have registered a case in this case while further investigation is underway.
