Court Orders to remove immoral content from TikTok

Peshawar, Pakistan (Pakistan News) The Peshawar High Court ordered the Pakistan telecommunication authority (PTA) to remove immoral content from TikTok and also directed to activate the Social Media Regulatory Authority to prevent immoral content.

According To details carried by Pakistani Media, Justice Sahibzada Asadullah and Justice Dr. Khurshid Iqbal of the Peshawar High Court heard the case against sharing immoral content on TikTok.

The petitioner’s lawyer said that immoral content is shared on social media, immoral and illegal activities are carried out in TikTok live games.

The PTA’s lawyer stated that the PTA blocks illegal content, while portals have been created for complaints about immoral content.

The two-member bench ordered the PTA to remove immoral content and activate the Social Media Authority.
