Test cricket, Mushfiqur Rahim breaks Imran Khan’s record
Lahore (Pakistan News) Bangladeshi batsman Mushfiqur Rahim broke the record of former Pakistan cricket team captain Imran Khan. By playing a Test match against Pakistan the other day, Mushfiqur Rahim has become the second Asian player with the longest Test career.
Mushfiqur Rahim’s Test career spans 20 years and 351 days. Ahead of him is former Indian captain Sachin Tendulkar, whose Test career spanned 24 years and one day. Former Pakistan captain Imran Khan has now become the third Asian player with the longest Test career with 20 years and 218 days.
It should be noted that Mushfiqur Rahim is also the only player to play 100 Test matches for Bangladesh.
