Mumbai (Pakistan News) Bollywood veteran Akshay Khanna, who is usually known for his soft-spoken and calm demeanor, once surprised everyone on the sets of a film when he reacted strongly to the misbehavior of a junior actor.
Actor Amit Bahl revealed that Akshay exploded like a volcano at the producer when he came to know that an actor was stopped from eating with the main cast and crew. Talking on Siddharth Kannan’s YouTube channel, Amit Bahl said that a character actor who was staying in a separate hotel came to Akshay’s hotel for lunch.
As soon as he took the first bite of the food, the producer’s wife or some relative saw him and said that he was not a part of this place and he should not eat this food. The production team also stopped him, to which he calmly put his plate aside and sat down silently. According to Amit Bahl, Akshay Khanna saw this scene from a distance and immediately intervened.
He criticized the producer and the crew in harsh words and said, “What is the real meaning of hunger and respect? A film is not made by the amount of plates or food, but by the prayers of the people.” Amit further said that on that day he realized how sensitive and concerned Akshay is for his fellow artists. Akshay is doing a Telugu film for the first time.
