Lahore (Pakistan News) Sabzazar police in Lahore cracked first murder of 2025 as a man killed by a hired assassin for reward of two Umrah tickets.
According to police, the suspect, identified as Usman, was hired to murder Riyaz, who was fatally shot on January 1st during a visit to the weekly bazaar with his wife.
The investigation revealed that the murder was orchestrated by Riyaz’s brother-in-law, Imtiaz, over a property dispute.
Police disclosed that the contract killer accompanied Imtiaz to the crime scene.
Imtiaz is on the run as police launched a manhunt to apprehend mastermind. The investigation is ongoing as authorities work to bring the case to a close and ensure justice for Riaz.
