Pakistani Fighter Jets Complete Non-Stop Flight to Azerbaijan, Mid-Air Refueling Conducted
Islamabad (Pakistan News online) In a remarkable journey, Pakistan Air Force (PAF) fighter jets successfully completed a non-stop flight from Pakistan to Azerbaijan, during which an impressive mid-air refueling exercise was carried out.
According to ISPR, this complex operation was skillfully executed using PAF’s own IL-78 aerial tanker, demonstrating both the long-range operational capability of the PAF aircraft and the exceptional professionalism of its aircrew.
The PAF contingent comprising the latest JF-17 Thunder Block III fighter jets, along with expert air and ground personnel has arrived in Azerbaijan to participate in the bilateral air exercise “Indus Shield Alpha.”
The objective of Indus Shield Alpha is to enhance mutual understanding, strategic coordination, and interoperability between the two brotherly air forces. The exercise will focus on modern air combat tactics, joint mission planning, and executing missions in rapidly evolving aerial scenarios.
This joint drill provides a key opportunity for both countries to share operational experience and strengthen collaboration in addressing modern air defense challenges.
