UAE Visa, Consul General Bakhit Atiq al-Rumiti clarifies on visa ban speculations
Karachi (Pakistan News) The UAE Consul General in Karachi, Bakhit Ateeq Al Rumaiti, has denied the reports that the UAE is not issuing visas to Pakistanis or UAE visa ban.
Speaking exclusively to Geo News, he said that he has not seen such a rush in the last three years regarding the issuance of UAE visas for Pakistanis as the UAE Karachi Consulate is facing these days.
He further stated that there is a lot of rush in the visa section of the Karachi Consulate regarding all types of visas. The information regarding the closure of visas is completely wrong.
In response to a question, he said that a prior date has to be taken for the issuance of certain types of visas, which has exceeded a month.
It should be noted that Additional Secretary Interior Salman Chaudhry made a statement during the meeting of the Senate Committee on Human Rights on Thursday that the UAE is not issuing visas to Pakistanis.
However, regarding the UAE, the UAE Consul General in Karachi has categorically denied such stories.
