Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the People’s Republic of China honoured eight current and former foreign ambassadors with the “Outstanding Diplomat Medal” during a ceremony held in Beijing on Monday, in the presence of Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.
The award was presented in recognition of their outstanding contributions to strengthening friendship and cooperation between China and their respective countries.
Among the honourees was Ambassador Abdulrahman Alharbi, Ambassador of Saudi Arabia to the People’s Republic of China, who received the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Outstanding Diplomat Medal in Beijing on Monday, May 18, 2026, in appreciation of his efforts in enhancing bilateral relations and cooperation between the two countries.
