CTO Lahore Abdul Rahim Shirazi Donates Blood
Lahore (Pakistan News)To mark World Blood Donor Day, Chief Traffic Officer (CTO) Lahore, SSP Abdul Rahim Shirazi, visited the Lahore Centre of Sundas Foundation, where he donated blood and encouraged citizens to support patients suffering from thalassemia, hemophilia, and other blood disorders.
Upon his arrival, he was received by Director Sundas Foundation Khalid Abbas Dar, Director Finance Ali Rauf, and members of the Foundation’s management team.
During the visit, SSP Abdul Rahim Shirazi met children undergoing treatment for thalassemia and hemophilia, inquired about their well-being, and distributed gifts among them. He also personally donated blood, while officers and personnel of Lahore Traffic Police participated in the blood donation drive and voluntarily donated blood for patients in need.
Speaking to the media, Abdul Rahim Shirazi said he was delighted to visit Sundas Foundation on World Blood Donor Day. He praised the Foundation for its outstanding humanitarian services, stating that it is a well-known institution that has been serving humanity for many years.
He expressed satisfaction at witnessing the quality healthcare services being provided to children suffering from thalassemia and other blood disorders. “I am pleased to see that these children are receiving treatment in accordance with international standards. Meeting them today has been a heartwarming experience,” he said.

The CTO appealed to the public to support Sundas Foundation through Zakat, charitable donations, and voluntary blood contributions. He paid tribute to the late Munnoo Bhai for initiating this noble cause and prayed for the continued success of the organization.
Abdul Rahim Shirazi also assured the Foundation of Lahore Police’s full cooperation and support whenever needed. Emphasizing the importance of blood donation, he described it as one of the greatest acts of humanitarian service and pledged to donate blood every three months. He further encouraged others to become regular blood donors and contribute towards saving precious lives.
The visit concluded with a renewed commitment to promoting voluntary blood donation and supporting patients who depend on regular blood transfusions for survival.
