Sindh government announces public holiday on Wednesday

Karachi (Pakistan News) The Sindh government has announced a holiday on July 29 on the occasion of the Urs of renowned Sufi saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai.

According to a notification issued by the provincial home department, there will be a holiday across the province on Wednesday, July 29, on the occasion of the Urs of the Sufi saint, under which provincial government offices and semi-government institutions will remain closed.

According to the notification, autonomous bodies, local councils and educational institutions of the province will also remain closed on July 29.

It should be noted that the Urs of renowned Sufi saint Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai is celebrated with religious devotion and respect every year on the 14th of the month of Safar according to the Islamic calendar, and in this regard, celebrations continue for three days in Bhit Shah.
