Mumbai (Pakistan News) famous Bollywood filmmaker and host Karan Johar has announced the conclusion of his show ‘Koffee with Karan’; the upcoming ninth season will be its last, he also revealed the reason to end after 22 years.
Johar stated that he wishes to focus on filmmaking and storytelling over the next decade of his career, which is why he has decided with a heavy heart to bring the show to an end.
He described the decision as deeply personal and emotional. According to Indian media, ‘Koffee with Karan’ premiered in 2004, with Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol appearing as guests on the inaugural episode.
The first season featured appearances by Amitabh Bachchan alongside his son Abhishek Bachchan, while Aishwarya Rai appeared with filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
The show frequently made headlines due to the participation of celebrities and the ensuing conversations covering friendships, romances, marriages, separations, and various controversial revelations.
The ninth and final season of ‘Koffee with Karan’ is set to premiere exclusively on JioHotstar on October 14, 2026.
