T20، Fakhar Zaman Becomes First Pakistani to Hit 100 Sixes
Rawalpindi (Pakistan News) Pakistan’s experienced opener Fakhar Zaman achieved a significant milestone during the third and final T20 match against Sri Lanka.
The 36-year-old Fakhar Zaman became the first Pakistani batsman to hit 100 sixes in men’s T20 International cricket. He achieved this feat at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium by hitting a six over deep mid-wicket off Sri Lankan fast bowler Binura Fernando; however, this personal milestone could not help the team secure a victory.
Heading into the match, Fakhar Zaman had already hit 99 sixes and needed just one more to reach the historic milestone. However, his celebration was short-lived, as he was dismissed for 12 runs off the bowling of Isitha Malinga.
Meanwhile, Sri Lanka secured an eight-wicket victory, thanks to an excellent batting performance by Kusal Mendis.
