New York (Pakistan News Online) American actress Selma Blair has apologised for her inappropriate behaviour aboard a flight earlier this month, expressing regret over the incident and saying she never intended to hurt or frighten anyone.
According to international media reports, the 54-year-old actress was reportedly arrested following an alleged assault on flight attendants aboard a flight from Los Angeles to New York.
On October 30, Blair shared a video on Instagram, publicly apologising to those affected by the incident.
“I never intended to hurt anyone. I have never wanted to harm or frighten anyone in my life. I apologise to everyone I disappointed or hurt, and to anyone who may have been frightened because of me,” she said.
The actress explained that she had remained silent for some time on the advice of her lawyers, who had asked her not to comment publicly while legal proceedings were ongoing.
Blair was accused of punching one flight attendant and biting another during the Los Angeles-to-New York flight.
She was also reportedly charged in a Queens court in New York with two counts of allegedly assaulting a police officer and a nurse while being transported to a hospital.
Her latest apology comes amid continued attention surrounding the alleged in-flight incident.
