Mumbai (Pakistan News) The Mumbai Police has issued a notice to actor Imran Khan,nephew of Bollywood’s “Mr. Perfectionist” Aamir Khan, directing him to leave India by October 28.
This action follows his participation in a protest demanding the resignation of the Chief Election Commissioner.
According to the Mumbai Police, Imran Khan took part in a demonstration held at Mumbai’s August Kranti Maidan, during which he was also taken into custody.
The police state that since Imran Khan is not an Indian citizen, action has been taken against him under the relevant provisions of the Immigration Act for participating in the protest.
Indian media reports indicate that the notice issued by the police instructs him to leave the country by October 28; however, the actor’s initial response to this development is not yet known.
