Pakistani Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Meets Saudi Counterpart in Riyadh to Strengthen Security Cooperation

 

Waqar Naseem Wamiq, Riyadh – Pakistan’s Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi arrived in the Saudi capital Riyadh, where he held an important meeting with Saudi Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Saud at the Ministry of Interior headquarters.

Prince Abdulaziz warmly welcomed Minister Naqvi, and the two leaders discussed bilateral relations and ways to enhance cooperation, particularly in the field of security. A key focus of the talks was strengthening joint efforts to combat drug trafficking and other transnational threats.

During the meeting, both sides emphasized the importance of reinforcing collaboration within the framework of their strategic partnership to achieve shared objectives in security and stability.

The meeting was attended by Saudi Deputy Interior Minister Dr. Abdulaziz bin Mohammed bin Ayyaf, Assistant Interior Minister Dr. Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al-Falih, Advisor to the Interior Minister Lieutenant General Suleiman bin Abdulaziz Al-Yahya, and Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Maliki, along with senior officials from the Ministry of Interior.

On the Pakistani side, Ambassador Ahmed Farooq and Ministry of Interior and Anti-Narcotics Undersecretary Muhammad Khurram Agha were also present.

This high-level engagement reflects the commitment of both nations to deepen their strategic ties and expand cooperation in addressing mutual security challenges.
