Afghan transgender injured in firing for not making friends in Peshawar

Peshawar (Pakistan Neww) In Faqirabad, the accused shot and injured an Afghan transgender for not making friends. The transgender received multiple bullet injuries and was shifted to intensive care unit .
According to Express News, Sara alias Dilbar, a transgender, was targeted yesterday outside the Pervez Plaza near Iqbal Plaza.
The transgender was outside the plaza on her way back from a musical program when two men on a motorcycle came and fired at her and fled.
Police say the shooting is being blamed on the accused Farhan alias Adam and another unknown person.
According to the president of the transgender community, Arzoo Khan, the injured transgender had previously left Kohat because of the accused who was constantly harassing her.
According to Arzoo Khan, two transgenders have been killed in Peshawar this year. Police authorities are demanding strict action against those involved in the murder, torture, extortion and harassment of transgenders.
