NCCI summons Punjab MPA over Momina Iqbal’s harassment complaint
Lahore (Pakistan News) On the actress’s request, the National Cybercrime Investigation Agency has summoned both parties, Momina iqbal and Saqib chadhar. On the other hand, the said MPA has also registered a case of threats against unknown persons in her native district on the complaint of her cousin.
Actress Momina Iqbal had alleged in her application that she has been facing online harassment, cyberbullying, mental pressure and death threats from an influential political figure for a long time. The actress, while issuing a detailed statement on her Instagram story, said that she had filed complaints regarding this matter with the NCCI, FIA and Punjab Police several times, but due to alleged political influence, no action could be taken.

In her post, she had demanded from the concerned authorities including Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz that a transparent and impartial investigation into the matter be conducted and her family be provided immediate protection.
The actress also tagged high officials, important government offices, news channels and various media platforms in her post. In another story, the actress thanked Maryam Nawaz for the action taken by NCCI and also said that no one should be accused and no one should be named before recording my official statement. Momina Iqbal said that she is also receiving messages from more women who have reported harassment by the same MPA.
