Iran’s FM tells the reason for not releasing Recent Photos of supreme leader

Tehran (Pakistan News) Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi has stated that regional nations have likely learned lessons from past events and should not support a new American war against Iran. He explained that photos of Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei are not being released due to security concerns, Khamenei oversees various affairs in his capacity related to the Supreme Leader, and state decisions are presented to him.

In an interview with Russian television, Araghchi noted that Mojtaba Khamenei is playing a highly active role. However, he emphasized the need for caution, as Iran faces adversaries who seek to target specific individuals.

The Iranian Foreign Minister clarified that Iran targeted only American military bases—not its Gulf neighbors and had previously informed regional states that, in the event of an American attack, U.S. bases in the region would be targeted.

Abbas Araghchi stated that Iran bears no responsibility for any Iranian missiles landing within Gulf States. He added that friendly nations now realize that American military bases cannot provide them with protection; in fact, these bases lack the capacity to even defend themselves.

The minister urged regional countries to refrain from supporting a new American war against Iran and to instead play a role in preventing the U.S. from initiating such a conflict, advocating for efforts to de-escalate tensions rather than encouraging war.

Abbas Araghchi expressed hope that the nations of the region have learned from the events of the past.
