Houthis Claim Attacks on Saudi Arabia’s East-West Crude Oil Pumping Stations and Riyadh Airport
Sanaa (Pakistan News) Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi group stated on Monday that it had carried out attacks on Saudi Arabia’s East-West crude oil pumping stations and Riyadh Airport; however, there has been no immediate confirmation from Saudi Arabia.
According to Reuters, the Saudi-led coalition had previously reported the destruction of two missile launchers in the capital, Sanaa including the one used to fire a missile toward Riyadh, which the coalition claimed to have intercepted and destroyed in mid-air.
It should be noted that the Houthis have frequently targeted Saudi Arabian airports, ports, and oil facilities with ballistic missiles and drone strikes, placing the U.S.-allied kingdom under significant pressure within the broader conflict.
