Two Pakistani who were going to Kasur mistakenly reached India

Lahore (Pakistan News) Two Pakistani citizens who crossed the border into Indian territory by mistake amid the tension between Pakistan and India have returned home safely with the efforts of Pakistan Rangers. Both citizens had strayed while delivering books and entered Indian territory, where the Indian Border Security Force (BSF) detained them along with their vehicle.

According to security sources, Muhammad Saleem and Aamir Nawaz, both from Lahore, had gone to deliver books on a carry-on in the border area of ​​Kasur on May 19. During the journey, they strayed and unintentionally entered Indian territory. The Indian Border Security Force (BSF) detained the two Pakistani citizens along with their vehicle. As soon as the incident was reported, the Pakistan Rangers contacted the Indian authorities and a flag meeting was called at the local level to resolve the matter.

According to the private TV channel Express News, as a result of diplomatic and professional efforts of Pakistan Rangers, the BSF handed over the two Pakistani nationals along with their vehicle to the Pakistan Rangers last evening, after which both the citizens returned home safely. Sources said that both the individuals belong to Lahore and no evidence of any malicious or illegal activity has been found against them.

Under the agreed procedure regarding border matters between Pakistan and India, if a citizen crosses the border by mistake, the border forces of both the countries try to ensure the return of such individuals after contacting and verifying them at the local level. Flag meetings and border coordination systems are used for this purpose, while there is also a tradition of humanitarian cooperation in cases of unintentional border violations.
