Gold Prices Surge Again, Rs5,900 Increase Per Tola

Karachi (Pakistan News) Gold prices continued their upward trajectory today as both international and local markets witnessed sharp increases.

According to the latest reports, the price of gold in the international bullion market surged by $59 per ounce, reaching a new record level of $4,134 per ounce. This significant jump in global prices has directly impacted the local market in Pakistan.

Following the international surge, the price of gold per tola in Pakistan rose by Rs5,900, reaching Rs435,762 per tola. Similarly, the price of 10 grams of gold increased by Rs5,065, bringing it to Rs373,595.

Market analysts attribute this sharp rise to ongoing global economic uncertainty, weakening of major currencies against the US dollar, and increased investor interest in safe-haven assets like gold.

Jewelry traders and consumers alike are feeling the impact of the price hike, as the demand for gold traditionally rises during the wedding season in Pakistan.
