Bengaluru, during Income Tax Department raid, Indian real estate tycoon shoots himself to death
Bengaluru (Pakistan News) In the Indian city of Bengaluru, CJ Roy, chairman of the real estate group, Confidant Group, committed suicide by shooting himself in his office during a raid by the Income Tax Department, he was 57 years old.
According to Indian media reports, the Bengaluru Police Commissioner said that the incident occurred at 3:30 pm. He was present in his office during the raid by the Income Tax Department and at that time he shot himself to death.
According to Bengaluru Police, for the last three days, the Income Tax Department had been raiding CJ Roy and his associated companies. During the raids, it was revealed that he had assets beyond his income.
Bengaluru Police Commissioner said that it will be clear only after the investigation whether it was a suicide or there was any kind of incitement in it. There is a possibility that the Income Tax raiding team is from Kerala, with whom the police will now talk.
According to Indian media, CJ Roy’s brother has told the media that the Income Tax officials first came to Bengaluru in December, while the second time on January 28, his brother CJ Roy was called back from Dubai and interrogated. CJ Roy was from Kochi, Kerala.
He was fond of luxury cars and was also associated with the Malayalam film industry. He produced several films.
