US Apache helicopter crashes near Strait of Hormuz, iran
Washington (Pakistan News) A US Apache helicopter has crashed near the Strait of Hormuz, Iran, after which the crew has been rescued and President Trump has also confirmed that both pilots are safe.
According to US media, both crew members on board the helicopter have been rescued safely but It is not yet clear whether the helicopter was destroyed as a result of Iranian fire or suffered a technical malfunction or accident.
An investigation has been launched to find out the causes of the accident.
Defense sources of US media say that various aspects of the accident are being examined and the real cause of the incident will be revealed only after the investigation is completed.
Later, speaking to reporters at John F. Kennedy International Airport before returning to Washington, Trump said that “both pilots of the helicopter are safe, no one was harmed.”
the US government would release a detailed report on the incident later on Tuesday, president added.
