Pak-Saudi relations, Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad bin Salman to visit Pakistan soon
Riyadh (Waqar Naseem Wamiq) Pakistan’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Ahmed Farooq has said that the Pak-Saudi defense agreement has given a new impetus to the government and public relations of the two countries, as a result of which cooperation in various fields is increasing further. He said on this occasion that Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman will visit Pakistan soon.
Briefing journalists at the Pakistan Embassy in Riyadh, Ahmed Farooq said that Saudi Arabia and Pakistan are important countries of the Islamic world which are promoting cooperation with each other for a better future in defense matters and other fields.
He said that during Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s recent visit to Saudi Arabia, investment and trade agreements were signed, many of which are in the process of completion and their positive effects are being seen on the Pakistani economy.
The Pakistani ambassador further said that during the next one month, Pakistan-Saudi agreements are going to be signed in eight sectors including information technology (IT), agriculture, textiles, through which the exports of Pakistani products to Saudi Arabia will increase.
Ahmed Farooq said that Pakistani exports to Saudi Arabia have reached an all-time high of $720 million annually, while exports in the services sector have reached $590 million.

He told that during the year 2025, five lakh workers from Pakistan came to Saudi Arabia and overall, 3 million Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia contribute 25 percent to the foreign exchange sent from all over the world.
Pakistani ambassador also emphasized that the Pakistani Embassy is working with utmost dedication and commitment to resolve the problems of its compatriots and all sectors are playing their role in ensuring guidance and support to Pakistanis living in Saudi Arabia.
