Doha (Pakistan News) Qatar is offering a facility for Pakistani citizens wishing to travel abroad, allowing them to obtain a free tourist visa upon arrival in the country without needing to secure one in advance.
According to Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, this facility is available to Pakistani citizens for a maximum duration of 30 days; however, certain conditions must be met to qualify.
As per information provided on the official website of Qatar’s Ministry of Interior, a free tourist visa is issued to Pakistani citizens upon arrival, valid for up to 30 days. The specific duration of the visa may also be determined based on the traveler’s hotel booking.
To avail of this facility, a Pakistani citizen’s passport must have a remaining validity of at least three months. Additionally, travelers must possess a confirmed return ticket.
According to Aaj news, Qatar has also stipulated a specific requirement regarding hotel bookings: reservations must be made exclusively through the official tourism website, “Discover Qatar.” Hotel reservations made via other websites or online booking platforms will not be accepted for this facility.
Furthermore, Pakistani citizens traveling to Qatar are required to obtain health insurance from an approved insurance provider. This insurance must be issued by a company recognized by Qatar’s Ministry of Public Health.
The Ministry of Interior states that all the aforementioned conditions must be met to obtain the free visa on arrival. If a traveler fails to fulfill the required conditions or provide the necessary documentation, there is no guarantee that they will be granted a visa under this facility.
This facility is separate from Qatar’s other visa-free entry and tourist visa programs. Therefore, travelers must ensure that they meet the relevant requirements and have the necessary documentation before traveling.
